Lee is an award winning director, actor, writer and musician. His first short film RUBY BABY (2019, 24 mins) won numerous awards world wide including Best Director and Best Picture at the Los Angeles Film Awards and explored the lasting impact of abuse across generations. This was followed by the epic AGAIN (2021, 30 mins), shot within just four days using the seascapes of his home town as the backdrop for a post apocalyptic parable . His third short GHOST NOTES (2026, 14 minutes) is a supernatural story set within the high-pressure world of music production which is entering festivals for 2026/27. With all his films Lee also took on the post-production duties of editing and colour grading.
In 2022 his work caught the eye of the development team for upcoming feature film THIS WAY OF LIFE and he was tasked with filming a sizzle reel for the film. His work in creating the feel of a large scale production on a tight budget impressed the producers and though the project ultimately stalled he is still in close contact with the team for future projects.
In 2026 he also took on his first sole producing credit for WRAP IT UP the winner of the London Suspense Screenwriting Competition (which he co-created) alongside 22 Summers (Idris Elba’s Production company). Set in a burrito van late at night it tells the story of Elias, a worker getting spooked by the sounds in the darkness.
His extensive work with actors and scripts, his running of his own production company working with clients to strict deadlines and budgets and his technical understanding in the use of cameras, lighting, editing and colour grading means he has a meticulous, holistic approach to directing, communicating ideas quickly across all departments, crew and talent.

An accomplished editor and colourist in his own right, he knows what is needed on set and can communicate technically between heads of department with insight into their processes and workflow.

Worked extensively as an actor and in directing theatre. Used to working with scripts and breaking them down. Has a great sense of mood and tone and how to communicate that between all departments in order to achieve a unique feel for a film or show. Is incredibly audience-centric and spends a lot time thinking about the audience experience through the medium.

Loves working in the fields of drama and dark comedy and specifically would love to work in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Good experience working with SFX and VFX and shooting action. Great at shooting within the timeframe but with flair. Can turn small budgets into dazzling finished products.
